Information sessions on the Restorative Engagement program
Information sessions will be held for class members or Defence Team members who are interested in becoming Defence representatives to provide information about the Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre (SMSRC) Restorative Engagement (RE) program and what to expect as a participant. The session will also offer a period for you to ask questions to program staff.
Sessions will be offered virtually via MS Teams Live Event. You do not need to register for a session and can simply join one of the following information sessions. This platform was chosen as it enables one-way communication that records the event and broadcasts it live. Your anonymity will therefore be protected. The only faces, names and voices that will be on screen are those of our presenting panelists. No other participants will see your name. You will also be able to ask questions anonymously.
A trained counsellor from our 24/7 line will be there in case you need support during a session.

How to join
- Click on the link for the chosen session to join on your computer, tablet or mobile phone.
- On a computer, you can join MS Teams from your internet browser.
- On a tablet or mobile phone, your device will ask that you download the MS Teams Application.
- Once on MS Teams, you can click on Join as a guest (you do not need to have an account).
- You will be asked to type in a name in which you can insert your first name or if you wish to remain anonymous, you can type in ‘Anonymous’.
- The broadcasted event will then launch. If you arrive late, you may need to click the Play button.
