We manage Department of National Defence housing at locations across Canada and we have employees at all locations, except Masset, Dundurn and Iqaluit. We have close to 200 employees at our Housing Services Centres across Canada and 100 employees at our Head Office in Ottawa.

Working at our Housing Services Centres

We have job opportunities at our Housing Services Centres across Canada that fall under the following three main fields. If you are interested in working at one of our Housing Services Centres in a Casual Worker capacity (up to 90 days), send us your resume and preferred location(s). Housing project management (technical services)

  • Manage construction projects and contracts
  • Perform home inspections
  • Help customers resolve technical housing issues
  • Evaluate and update information on the condition of the housing units
  • Apply directives, instructions and guidelines

Customer service

  • Deliver front line service to customers, applicants and contractors
  • Allocate housing units to customers
  • Help resolve customer issues and complaints
  • Coordinate appointments with customers, technical staff and contractors
  • Create work orders and purchase orders

Finance and administration

  • Provide administrative, financial and human resources support services
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports
  • Prepare budgets
  • Process rent payments
  • Give financial information and services to managers, staff and customers
