General | My Transiton Seminar

The general seminar aims to prepare CAF members for post-military life, whether their transition plan is to seek full-time civilian employment, completely retire, or anything in between. This seminar is applicable to CAF members undergoing a voluntary release, but specifically addresses those 5 to 10 years prior to their targeted release date. This seminar covers information pertinent to all members.

Psychological Aspects of Transition This video provides an overview of the psychological aspects of military to civilian transition and the strategies that may be helpful in navigating the process.
Public Service Employment This video provides an overview of the application process to the Public Service, as well as the mechanisms to help hire veterans, including priority entitlement, preference and mobility.
Legion Service Officer This video provides you with an overview of the services and supports available through the Royal Canadian Legion.
