National Cadet Advisory Council
The National Cadet Advisory Council (NCAC) is hosted by the Commander Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Gp (CJCR Gp) with personnel administrative support provided by Regional Cadet Support Unit (RCSU) Pacific and logistical support provided by host RCSUs while operating as a lodger unit of Vernon Cadet Training Centre (CTC). The working group will provide the opportunity for the Comd and senior Formation staff to engage directly with a group of senior cadets from across the country on a variety of Cadet Program related topics.

Chief Petty Officer First Class Anushka Ablak

263 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps (RCSCC) Beacon Hill
Chief Petty Officer First Class Anushka Ablak, from 263 RCSCC Beacon Hill in Victoria, British Columbia, is representing RCSU Pacific on the 2025 National Cadet Advisory Council. She attended summer training at HMCS Quadra CTC, specializing in seamanship, and also participated in a virtual CTC in 2023. This is her second year on the NCAC. Anushka is the coxswain at her corps and a member of the competitive marksmanship and open-water diving teams. Outside of cadets, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and exploring new places. She also volunteers as a team leader for the Step-Up Youth Program with Vancouver Island Health. In the fall, she will begin studying for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Camosun College through the Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP) with the Canadian Armed Forces.

204 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron (RCACS)
Warrant Officer Second Class Hanna Aspinall, from 204 RCACS in Kamloops, British Columbia, is representing RCSU Pacific on the 2025 NCAC. She attended summer training at Vernon CTC for the Fitness and Sports Instructor Course and also participated in Operations staffing. At her unit, she serves as the Squadron Chief Warrant Officer, drill team commander, and is a member of the biathlon and marksmanship teams. Outside of cadets, Hanna plays with the Kamloops Pipe Band and enjoys going to the gym. She will be attending Thompson Rivers University in the fall to study Police and Justice Studies.

83 Juno Beach Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron
Warrant Officer Second Class Noela Batinić is a member of 83 Juno Beach Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron, under the Regional Cadet Support Unit Northwest. She serves as a designated survival instructor, flight commander, and member of the drill team. She has also competed in effective speaking at the provincial level and is involved in planning and staffing field training exercises (FTXs) and area-directed activities (ADAs). Noela completed the Survival Instructor Course at Cold Lake CTC in 2023 and the Drill and Ceremonial Instructor Course at Rocky Mountain CTC in 2024. Her hobbies include hiking and camping.

807 Mount Pearl Kinsmen Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron
Warrant Officer Second Class Samuel Bungay, from 807 Mount Pearl Kinsmen RCACS in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, is representing RCSU Atlantic on the 2025 NCAC. He attended the Survival Instructor Course at Cold Lake CTC and served as a Staff Cadet at Whitehorse CTC. At his squadron, he is the deputy commander, an instructor, and a member of the drill team. He also coaches the marksmanship and biathlon teams. Outside of cadets, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, researching aspects of the cadet program, and learning new ways to strengthen his leadership skills. He will begin his general year in science at Memorial University in the fall, aiming for a career in computer science.

Chief Petty Officer Second Class Nolan Cheung is from 47 RCSCC Captain Vancouver and represents RCSU Pacific. He serves as the coxswain of his corps. Nolan attended HMCS Quadra CTC in 2022 for the Seamanship course. His hobbies include weightlifting, playing the saxophone, and spending time with friends. He will be studying Materials Engineering at the University of Toronto.

604 Moose Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron
Warrant Officer Second Class Dominic Corbett, from 604 Moose RCACS in Calgary, Alberta, is representing RCSU Northwest on the 2025 National Cadet Advisory Council. He attended summer training at Cold Lake CTC for the Advanced Aviation Course. At his squadron, he serves as the Level One NCO and instructor, leads the first aid program, and is an active member of the marksmanship, drill, and media teams. Outside of cadets, Dominic enjoys reading, traveling, flying drones, videography, cooking, and spending time with his friends, family, and dog. He will be entering his final year of high school in the fall.

Chief Petty Officer Second Class Jeremy Dubé is a member of 40 RCSCC Falkland in Ottawa, Ontario, representing RCSU Central. He currently serves as the coxswain of his corps. Jeremy has attended summer training at Cold Lake CTC for the Drill and Ceremonial Instructor course, served as a staff cadet at Connaught CTC, and was a member of the National Cadet Advisory Council in 2024. He enjoys delivering professional development sessions at his corps. Outside of cadets, his interests include playing rugby, guitar, and spending time with friends.

Master Warrant Officer Thimothé Ferland is a member of 2973 Arras Army Cadet Corps in St-Félix-de-Valois, representing RCSU Eastern. He holds the position of Regimental Sergeant Major. Thimothé completed the Effective Communication Course (Virtual) in 2021, the Drill and Ceremonial Instructor at Valcartier CTC in 2022, the Expedition Team Leader at Valcartier CTC in 2023, attended Okpiapik Camp at CTC Valcartier, served as Staff Cadet - Operations at Valcartier CTC, and participated in RegEx in 2024. His hobbies include work, reading, and cycling.

3036 Sackville Lions Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps
Originally born in Ottawa, Ontario, Master Warrant Officer Emelia Howe recently moved to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She is from 3036 Sackville Lions Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps and currently serves as the senior cadet correspondent at her corps. Earlier this year, she was also the marksmanship coach. In 2023, she attended Argonaut CTC for the Expedition Team Member course, and in 2024, she attended Blackdown CTC for the Introduction to Drill and Ceremonial course. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with friends and reading historical fiction. She hopes to join the military to pursue a career as an intelligence officer.

Master Warrant Officer Elizabeth Jarvis is from 1809 Loyal Edmonton Regiment, Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, representing the Northwest region. She serves as a Section Commander at her corps. Her previous CTC experience includes serving as an Expedition Team Leader at Rocky Mountain CTC. Outside of cadets, Elizabeth enjoys reading, paddle boarding, and volunteering at the French Cultural Centre.

Chief Petty Officer Second Class Brogan Francis Kennedy is from 335 RCSCC Calgary and represents RCSU Northwest. He serves as the Deputy Coxswain at his corps. Although he has not attended a Cadet Training Centre, he has been in his school band for six years and the cadet band for three years, where he was recognized as the top band cadet for two consecutive years. Brogan has a strong interest in history and aviation, and he plans to pursue a career in the aviation industry.

Chief Petty Officer Second Class Nycolas Leblanc is a member of 188 Trafalgar Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps, representing RCSU Eastern. He holds the position of Coxswain. Nycolas completed the Basic Seamanship course at Bagotville CTC in 2022, the Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor course at Connaught CTC in 2023, and was a Staff Cadet for the Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor course at Valcartier CTC in 2024. His hobbies include playing tennis, badminton, biking, swimming, climbing, and playing video games.

Warrant Officer Second Class Olivia Lee Wo is a member of 820 Chris Hadfield RCACS in Milton, Ontario, under RCSU Central. At her squadron, she holds the position of Level 4 Warrant Officer, serves as a Cadet Correspondent, and is a member of the Drill Team. In 2023, she attended the Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor course at Connaught CTC and was also a member of the NCAC in 2024. Outside of cadets, Olivia enjoys graphic design, volunteering at the Legion and her local Navy League corps, and spending time with friends. She will be starting her final year of high school in the fall.

Chief Petty Officer Second Class Danielle Moore, from 305 RCSCC Sackville, represents RCSU Atlantic on the 2025 NCAC. She has attended summer training at HMCS Quadra CTC in the Military Band Musician Course and also participated in a Virtual CTC. She is the Deputy Coxswain at her corps and is involved in the Band, Drill, Marksmanship, and Biathlon teams. Outside of cadets, she enjoys playing various school sports, participating in health-related clubs and student council, and is currently working towards her silver Duke of Edinburgh Award. This fall, she will be entering her final year of high school.

Warrant Officer Second Class Samriddha Negi is a member of 75 Barrhaven Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron, representing RCSU Eastern. He holds the positions of Flag Party Commander, Standards Warrant Officer, Marksmanship Range Staff, and Drill Team Commander. Samriddha has served as Staff Cadet Sgt at Blackdown CTC for Drill & Ceremonial. His hobbies include coding small programs, swimming laps, lifeguarding, and First Aid instruction. He is attending the University of Ottawa for Biomedical Sciences.

Master Warrant Officer Tolulope Oloye is from 560 Moncton Army Cadets in Moncton, New Brunswick, where she serves as the Regimental Sergeant Major. She has attended a virtual geocaching CTC, the Drill and Ceremonial Instructor course in 2022, the Mountain Biking Instructor course in 2023, and participated in the National Cadet Advisory Council in 2024. She enjoys learning new concepts, biking, jogging, and contributing her time to community service.

Warrant Officer Second Class Elise Olsen, from 676 Kittyhawk RCACS in Sidney on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, is representing the Pacific region on the 2025 NCAC. She has attended both marksmanship and drill/ceremonial summer training courses at Vernon CTC and Argonaut CTC. At her home unit, she is deeply involved with the marksmanship team, where she trains, coaches, and competes. Outside of cadets, Elise enjoys volunteering in various roles and attending local music events with her friends.

Chief Petty Officer Second Class Julia Wood is from 135 RCSCC Admiral Nelles in Bradford, Ontario, representing RCSU Central (SWOA). She serves as the Deputy Coxswain at her corps. Her previous CTC experience includes attending the Technology and Digital Learning Center from 2022 to 2024 and serving as a Cadet Correspondent. Julia’s hobbies include playing softball, participating in ethics and debate, reading, photography, Sea Quiz, band, and cadet correspondence. She plans to study Forensics and Psychology in the Honors Science BSc program at Trent University.

Chief Warrant Officer Amna Zafar is from 2525 Ontario Regiment RCACC, representing RCSU Central. She serves as the Regimental Sergeant Major of her corps and also contributes as a lesson instructor and assists with the Marksmanship team. In 2023, she completed the Drill and Ceremonial Instructor course at Blackdown CTC. Outside of cadets, Amna enjoys reading, exploring computer science, and is an active member of her school’s DECA team.
