Quality Engineering Test Establishment

The Quality Engineering Test Establishment (QETE) provides the Department of National Defence, the Canadian Armed Forces, and other federal organizations with a broad range of specialized, technology-based engineering and applied science testing as well as investigative services to support decision-making throughout all phases of materiel acquisition and support.

QETE is a CAF field unit of the Materiel Group with deployable capability both nationally and internationally. QETE’s roles involve:

failure and accident investigation
specialized testing and evaluation
technical advice
departmental program and technical authority
