Businesses are innovative and growing in Quebec

Target:

To stimulate innovation, productivity, and inclusive and sustainable growth among businesses.

Overview of the activities we will support:

  • Digital shift and adoption of cutting-edge technologies (such as robotization)
  • Adoption and development of clean technologies (contributing, for example, to energy efficiency and the manufacture of cleaner products)
  • Increasing competitiveness on international markets
  • Assistance for regional clusters and the implementation of an improved funding approach for incubation and acceleration services in Quebec
  • Promotion of the capabilities of SMEs and organizations supporting SMEs among major prime contractors

Target:

To help the regions better position themselves and seize development opportunities in a more resilient, sustainable, and inclusive economy.

Overview of the activities we will support:

  • Attracting tourists, including by developing what regions offer by strengthening the capacity of tourism attractions with the potential for an international profile   
  • Assistance for small businesses and local development in rural regions, including through the SADCs and CAEs
  • Increased economic participation by rural communities and under-represented groups

Quebec’s businesses commercialize their innovations

Target:

To help businesses develop and commercialize innovative, sustainable technologies.

Overview of the activities we will support:

  • Integration into global value chains
  • Access to national and international markets (in compliance with applicable international agreements)
  • Access to public markets and industrial and technological benefits
  • Adoption, development and commercialization of quantum technologies and products based on these technologies (informatics, communications and cybersecurity, detection, imaging, and development of innovative materials)
  • Development and commercialization of new sustainable technologies (including those related to eco-design and the circular economy), in the area of residential housing, among others
