Employment Insurance contact information for trustees
Applicable for employer bankruptcies only.
When a company declares bankruptcy, a trustee is appointed to oversee the company’s finances. During the bankruptcy process, the employer may owe dividend payments to former employees.
Contacting a bankruptcy coordinator
If you’re a trustee who needs to issue dividend payments for an Employment Insurance (EI) claimant, send an email to esdc.ien.agfq.ei.ag.bec.gd-gd.cteo.co.ae.corq.rei.edsc@servicecanada.gc.ca.
In your email, please provide:
- your name and company
- the employer company name
- the date of bankruptcy
Note: Never include a social insurance number in your email.
An EI bankruptcy coordinator will follow up to discuss timeframes for completion and obtain any additional information.
