The Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will announce that eligible Canadian families will receive their first Canada Child Benefit payment starting July 20, 2016.

The announcement will be made on behalf of the the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development.

A photo opportunity and media availability will follow the announcement.
