The Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, will celebrate Canadians who make a difference in people’s lives and in their communities during the Canada’s Volunteer Awards ceremony.

Minister Duclos will be joined by members of the Thérèse Casgrain family to present a Canadian with the Thérèse Casgrain Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes an individual who has demonstrated significant dedication to making a difference and showing leadership over the course of their life.

Minister Duclos and recipients will be available for a photo opportunity and to answer questions from the media following the ceremony.
