Government of Canada to launch call for proposals for community-based projects to support seniors

Member of Parliament for Vaughan—Woodbridge, Francesco Sorbara, will be in Woodbridge to launch the 2023–2024 call for proposals for community-based projects through the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP). NHSP funding supports organizations that engage seniors in their communities.

The announcement is being made on behalf of the Minister of Labour and Seniors, Seamus O’Regan.

MP Sorbara will be accompanied by Steven Del Duca, Mayor of Vaughan.

A photo opportunity and media availability will follow the announcement.
