Government of Canada invests in skills training for Indigenous people

The Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages, Randy Boissonnault, will be in Kahnawake to announce funding to the First Nations Human Resources Development Commission of Quebec for their project, Global Strategy for Indigenous Employability. This project aims to increase the number of Indigenous people in employment or vocational training in communities and in urban areas.

The Minister will be accompanied by Brenda Shanahan, Member of Parliament for Châteauguay—Lacolle.
