Promptly tell Service Canada when:
- you move
- you leave Canada for more than 6 months
- your banking information changes
- your marital status changes
- a child under 18 who is entitled to receive the Canada Pension Plan children’s benefit enters or leaves your custody
- someone in your family who receives benefits dies
If you file your income tax return by April 30, 2021
Your Guaranteed Income Supplement, Allowance or Allowance for the Survivor will not be suspended in July 2021.
