Service Canada expands its reach by offering outreach activities within communities. If you need information on or help applying for Service Canada programs or benefits such as the Social Insurance Number, Canadian Dental Care Plan, Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and other Government of Canada programs and services but are unable or prefer not to travel to a Service Canada office, you can consult this page to find upcoming outreach events in your community.

How to find a Service Canada outreach activity

Below you will find a list of upcoming outreach events. You can narrow your search by filtering activities by:

  • location
  • type of activity
  • specific audience
  • language
  • delivery mode (either in-person or virtually)

Outreach activities are scheduled based on the availability of host organizations and are planned regularly. Check the listing of activities regularly for new activities and potential changes to those already listed.

Certain activities require registration, which can be completed using the contact information provided or through the ‟Register” button which may redirect to an external website.

Registration for this Service Canada outreach activity is voluntary. Not providing information will result in Service Canada being unable to register you for the activity and unable to contact you should the activity be modified, rescheduled, or cancelled.

The information you provide may be used and/or disclosed for policy analysis, research and/or evaluation purposes. However, these additional uses and/or disclosures of your personal information will never result in an administrative decision being made about benefits you may be entitled to.

Mask-Friendly Environment

Service Canada offers a mask-friendly environment. Clients should feel comfortable to wear a mask during Service Canada outreach events.

Don't attend if you:

  • are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 (even if mild)
  • have tested positive on a PCR or rapid test, been presumed positive for COVID-19 in the past 5 days
  • have been instructed by public health authorities or a health care provider to quarantine or isolate for any reason

Limit the use of scented products

Service Canada promotes a scent reduced work environment and encourages the limited use of scented products at Service Canada outreach events.
