Current Status of the Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities – National stream Call for proposals: Closed
All applicants will receive an acknowledgement within 21 calendar days of submitting their application. Further to this acknowledgment, applicants will be notified of the status of their application within 90 days of the Call for Proposals (CFP) closing date of March 6, 2018.
Applicants must not start their proposed projects until notified by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) of approval and an agreement has been signed between the organization and a representative of ESDC.
Please note that not all applications submitted under this CFP will be approved. Funding is limited and is subject to budget considerations of the Opportunities Fund program and ESDC, and allocation of funds by Parliament.
Decisions are final and there is no appeal process.
Through funding for organizations, the Opportunities Fund program helps persons with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain employment or self-employment to increase their economic participation and independence. The Opportunities Fund program offers a range of activities that can be tailored to meet the individual needs of persons with disabilities.
