Help verify your identity using Interac® verification service
Interac® verification service is an alternative identity verification process to register for My Service Canada Account (MSCA). The current process requires the client to obtain an access code. This could take up to 10 business days. The Interac® verification service option allows Canadians to register and access MSCA in real-time.
The Interac® verification service option is for new clients registering to MSCA with GCKey or their bank (Sign-in Partner). Existing MSCA clients do not need to validate their identity again, unless they choose to sign in with a different credential.
Interac® verification service uses strong security protocols to protect personal information from being identified, accessed or misused. Interac® verification service does not have access to your financial institution credentials. You will be asked to consent to every transaction.
