The Canada - Costa Rica Agreement on Environmental Cooperation (CCRAEC) is the environmental side agreement to the Canada - Costa Rica Free Trade Agreement. The CCRAEC was signed by Canada and Costa Rica on April 23rd 2001 and entered into force on November 1st 2002

The CCRAEC creates a framework to better conserve, protect and enhance the environment of the two countries through cooperation and effective enforcement of environmental laws.
