Committee dynamics

• Although the committee is made up of many diverse political viewpoints, Senate committees are less partisan then House of Commons committees.
• In general, the committee works well together, often adopting things via consensus.
• Most Senators are patient and allow witnesses to respond to their questions in full.  The Chair is more lenient with time for questioning.
