By the application deadline (September 21, 2018), the program received over 300 applications, for projects amounting to over $65 million. Funding decisions were made in December 2018, and successful applicants were notified in January 2019.

About the Climate Action Fund

The Climate Action Fund will provide up to $3 million in funding to support projects delivered by students, youth, Indigenous Peoples and organizations, small and medium-sized businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and research and educational institutions.
