Environment and Climate Change Canada to hold media availability to share results following extreme heat across the country this summer

Gatineau, Quebec – September 16, 2025 – Media representatives are advised that Environment and Climate Change Canada will hold a media availability to share new results from the climate change attribution system following extreme heat across the country this summer.
The briefing will be provided by a senior climate research scientist and a national meteorologist.
The media availability is for attribution and will be held via Zoom. Following the briefing, media will have the opportunity to ask questions to both speakers.
