Canadian wildland fire information system (CWFIS)

The CWFIS monitors the locations of current wildfires across Canada and produces maps that show fire danger conditions. It does not provide any information on wildfire smoke air quality and health risks.

WeatherCAN and AQHI

Download the Government of Canada’s WeatherCAN app to receive free notifications about severe weather events, AQHI, and extreme heat and cold. Set custom notifications on the WeatherCAN app to check the AQHI for current air quality conditions in your community.
