Appendix 3: Determining Annual Production
The annual quantity of finished product should be aggregated by using the total daily production from January 1 to December 31.
The finished product should be measured using devices that comply with the Weights and Measures Regulations. The production of a finished product should be measured in air-dried metric tonnes, as follows:
- For pulp, if the water content is greater than 10%, the weight is to be adjusted such that this content does not exceed 10%; if the water content is equal to or less than 10%, the weight does not need to be adjusted;
- For a paper product, the weight is that of the paper after it has been machine-dried.
