Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 129(3) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA 1999), the conditions of disposal at sea permit no. 4543‑2‑04441 are varied and approved as follows. The amendment is published on the CEPA Registry on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.
4. Loading site(s): Pointe-Basse Harbour, Quebec, 47.38935° N, 61.79119° W North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83), with the exception of the zone of exclusion described in the document titled “Gabarit de dragage et zone d’exclusion pour l’immersion au havre de Pointe-Basse, Iles-de-la-Madeleine, 2016”, approved by the Department of the Environment. This document shall be available at the loading site and on all powered ships directly engaged in the loading and disposal operations.
