Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 129(3) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA), the conditions of disposal at sea permit no. 4543-2-04456-01 are varied and approved as follows. The varied conditions are published on the Canadian Environmental Protection Act Registry on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
3. Duration of permit: permit is valid from March 15, 2020, to March 14, 2021.
3.1. The loading and disposal at sea activities are restricted to the following periods: from March 15 to April 15, 2020, from May 1st to July 15, 2020 and from August 11, 2020, to March 14, 2021. The permittee may modify the duration of the restriction periods with the written approval of the Department of the Environment.
10. Total quantity to be disposed of: not to exceed 16 500 cubic metres, place measure.
