Notice is hereby given that the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to subsection 129(3) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA), is varying the conditions of disposal at sea permit no. 4543-2-04456-02 as outlined below. The varied condition(s) are published in the Canadian Environmental Protection Act Registry on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
3. Duration of permit: The permit is valid from March 15, 2021, to March 14, 2022.
3.1. The loading and disposal at sea activities are restricted to the following periods: from March 15, 2021, to July 15, 2021 and from August 11, 2021, to March 14, 2022.
3.2. Between May 3, 2021 and May 15, 2021, strictly limit loading activities in the Pointe-Basse Harbour navigation channel to priority areas, to ensure navigation safety for users.
