Disposal at sea permit ATL-00329-1, amended
Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999
Notice is hereby given that the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to subsection 129(3) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA), is varying conditions of disposal at sea permit no. ATL-00329-1 as outlined below. The varied conditions are published in the Canadian Environmental Protection Act Registry on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
10. Total quantity to be disposed of:
- West Point, Site B (CA-AT-D205): not to exceed 2 000 cubic metres, place measure
- West Point, Site C (CA-AT-D206): not to exceed 13 000 cubic metres, place measure
13. Reporting and notification:
13.1. The permittee must provide the following information, in writing, no later than 48 hours before loading and disposal activities commence and no sooner than 7 days before loading and disposal activities commence: name or number of ships, equipment, platforms or structures to be used to carry out the loading and/or disposal, name of the contractor, including corporate and on-site contact information; measures to estimate quantities of dredged material disposed at each disposal site and expected period of loading and disposal activities.
