Toxic substances list: 3,3’-Dichlorobenzidine
The substance 3,3'-dichlorobenzidine is not produced in Canada, but amounts of up to approximately 100 tonnes are imported each year. It is used in Canada primarily for the production of pigments for printing inks, textiles, paints, plastics and crayons.
