Table 20. Additional Recommended Operating Practices for Borate Process Systems

Operation	Recommendation
Routine checks	Objective: To define procedural practices that will enhance environmental and worker safety.
Treatment cylinder	It is recommended that no or only a slight final vacuum be applied. Keep net retentions as close as possible to specified levels.

All treated wood must be protected from precipitation (wrapped) until final installation.
