In 2021-23, Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Science Horizons Youth Internship Program (Science Horizons) helped over 1900 young graduates across Canada obtain practical work experience in Canada’s green economy.

Science Horizons supports placements in environmental science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Historically, the type of work can be grouped into five (5) common internship personas: the field researcher, the engineer, the analyst, the lab scientist and the educator.
