Until January 11, 2019, Environment and Climate Change Canada and Natural Resources Canada are looking for partners to help us deliver the Science Horizons Youth Internship Program and the Science and Technology Internship Program – STIP (Green Jobs). Science Horizons supports green jobs for youth by providing wage subsidies to eligible employers to hire interns in environmental and clean technology sectors. Interns must be recent college or university graduates eligible to work in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).

BioTalent Canada is a national, non-profit organization that facilitates research, skills development and various projects to support professionals in the Canadian biotechnology industry.

Clean Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on green solutions in the areas of energy efficiency, water health, waste reduction and sustainable transportation in Atlantic Canada.

Colleges and Institutes Canada is a national organization that champions innovation, applied research and employment opportunities addressing climate change and other environmental challenges.

ECO Canada is a national organization that specializes in environmental labour market research and provides employment and training resources to environmental professionals.

Mitacs is a national, non-profit organization that builds partnerships between industry and academia by delivering research-based internships and training programs that support the development of industrial and social innovation in Canada.

Since 1997, Science Horizons has supported over 2700 internship opportunities across Canada.

Part of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment Strategy (YES), Science Horizons helps young people gain the skills, abilities, and work experience they need to find and maintain good jobs. YES has a new focus on green jobs for youth, to help young Canadians gain valuable work experience, learn about our natural environment and contribute to economic growth in environmental and clean technology sectors.
