The personal information is collected under the authority of section 5 of the Department of the Environment Act and Financial Administration Act

Environment and Climate Change Canada’s mandate is to protect and conserve our natural environment. The Scientists-at-Large Program was designed to bring environmental science into the classroom or your event with an engaging presentation by one of the Department’s scientists or subject matter experts. To find the right expert to speak, we will need to collect your personal information along with detailed information regarding the audience. Your participation and decision to provide any information in the invitation form is voluntary.

The personal information collected, used and retained by Environment and Climate Change Canada is protected under the Privacy Act. Information in this survey will be used, disclosed and retained in accordance with the conditions listed in the Personal Information Bank Outreach Activities PSU 938.
