Dear Mr. Fontaine:
At its June 22, 2020, meeting, the Farm Products Council of Canada (Council) reviewed the proposed amendment to the Canadian Chicken Marketing Quota Regulations as described in your letter of May 26, 2020, for the A-164 allocation period, which begins on July 5, 2020, and ends on August 29, 2020.
Following a thorough review of the rationale provided by Chicken Farmers of Canada, Council members were satisfied that the amended allocation, according to the Schedule submitted by the Agency, was necessary for the implementation of the marketing plan as contained in the Chicken Farmers of Canada Proclamation.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or Nancy Fournier, Council Secretary, at 613-799-9097 or by email at nancy.fournier@canada.ca.
Sincerely,
Original signed by the Chairman
