Dear Mr. Fontaine:
At its February 2, 2021, meeting, the Farm Products Council of Canada (Council) reviewed the proposed amendment to the Canadian Chicken Marketing Quota Regulations as submitted in your letter of January 12, 2021, for the A-168 allocation period, which begins on February 14, 2021, and ends on April 10, 2021.
Following a thorough review of the rationales provided by Chicken Farmers of Canada (Agency), in your letters of December 15, 2020, January 8 and 12, 2021, Council members were satisfied that the allocation, according to the documents submitted by the Agency, was necessary for the implementation of the marketing plan as contained in the Chicken Farmers of Canada Proclamation.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or Nancy Fournier, Council Secretary, at 613-799-9097 or by email at nancy.fournier@canada.ca.
Sincerely,
Original signed by the Chairman
