Appearance before the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (December 1, 2020): Logistic and technical guidelines

An electronic copy of your speaking notes should be provided to the clerk no later than 24 hours before your scheduled appearance. Speaking notes are intended for the use of interpreters only.

A wired headset with a boom microphone will be essential for your appearance to ensure adequate audio quality and the reduction of audio feedback. The speech is much clearer for those listening, interpreting to the other official language, and transcribing what is being said. To request that one be sent to you, please inform us as soon as possible by completing the necessary information fields in the attached form. The earlier the request is made, the greater the likelihood that the equipment will be delivered on time (minimum of 48-72 hours is needed).

Please note that as soon as your confirmation of appearance form is returned by email, you will receive an invitation to schedule testing of your hardware and connectivity.

You will be asked to please join the virtual meeting room 30 minutes before your scheduled appearance. This will allow our technical team to reverify your connection and sound before the start of the meeting.
