FCAC recognized for financial wellness by Canada Awards for Excellence

The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) is pleased to announce that it received a Certificate of Merit in Financial Wellness in Toronto today from Excellence Canada as part of its Canada Awards for Excellence program. Each year, Canada Awards for Excellence recognizes Canadian organizations in all sectors for their outstanding achievements in improving the living and working conditions of their employees.

Financial wellness is defined by Excellence Canada as a combination of financial health, financial well-being and financial literacy. 

Excellence Canada evaluated FCAC and other organizations according to criteria, such as the improvement of organizational performance, the culture of a healthy workplace, and a new standard for financial health. Over 600 outstanding organizations have been recognized so far for meeting the highest standard of quality, excellence, innovation and healthy workplace.
