Narrator: The financial marketplace is becoming more and more digital.

Narrator: You may also be aware that digital access and digital literacy are concerns because many Canadians can’t participate fully in the digital financial marketplace.

Narrator: For some people, understanding online banking is difficult.

Narrator: Other people lack access to computers and high-speed Internet making it impossible to participate in the digital economy.

Narrator: At the same time, Canadians who manage their finances online need to know how to protect themselves and their financial information.

Narrator: FCAC’s National Financial Literacy Strategy identifies ways how you can improve digital access and digital literacy in Canada.

Narrator: Here are some things you can do

Narrator: Create programs or resources that help strengthen digital literacy.

Text on screen: Help consumers protect themselves

Narrator: Teach people how to protect themselves from online fraud and scams.

Narrator: Provide paper-based options for those who need or want them.
