Registry of foreign influence activities
The registry provides Canadians with a clear and accessible tool to see who is engaging in foreign influence and the nature of their activities. Canadians can also see the actions taken in response to violations of the Foreign Influence Transparency and Accountability Act (the Act).
The registry shows who is acting with a foreign principal to influence Canada's political or governmental processes, and the details of their activities. Arrangements listed on the registry are transparent and in compliance with the Act.
- Registration starts August 4, 2026. Information is published in registry after it is reviewed and validated
- The registry may appear empty until information has been received, reviewed, and validated
