Budget
A budget is a detailed estimate of how a specific sum of money will be used for a particular purpose or period of time.
Most years the Government releases one major document, the Budget, which sets out where and how it plans to collect and invest taxpayers' money. The Department of Finance prepares the budget and usually tables it in Parliament early in the year.
