About this consultation
The Nutrition for Healthy Term Infants guidelines help health professionals give consistent information on feeding infants, by providing:
- evidence-based recommendations
- a foundation for parent and caregiver resources
As part of our revision process, we're seeking comments on the draft guidelines for infant nutrition from birth to 6 months of age. Our objective is to ensure the final guidelines are clear, complete, relevant and useful.
Nutrition for Healthy Term Infants is a joint statement of:
- Health Canada
- Dietitians of Canada
- Indigenous Services Canada
- the Canadian Paediatric Society
- the Public Health Agency of Canada
- Breastfeeding Committee for Canada
