About the consultation
Why we are consulting
The available information on E. coli has been assessed with the intent of updating the current drinking water guideline and guideline technical document. The purpose of this consultation is to solicit comments on the proposed document. The document is being made available for a 60-day public consultation period
Who is the focus of this consultation
This consultation is intended for scientific or technical audiences who focus on drinking water, including:
- regulatory agencies
- academic communities
- health protection agencies
- public drinking water utilities, such as drinking water treatment plants
Comments are also welcome from members of the general public.
