Consultation: Guidance on asbestos in drinking water

Opened on January 23, 2026 and closed to new input on March 24, 2026.

Health Canada has drafted Guidance on asbestos in drinking water. We're looking for feedback, in particular on the approach used to develop the guidance and on the potential costs of implementing them.
