Health Canada sought feedback on a proposed regulatory initiative to update the Children's Sleepwear Regulations under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA).

To participate in this consultation, stakeholders were asked to submit responses to a questionnaire on the Notice of intent – Proposal to amend the Children's Sleepwear Regulations under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

Goals of the consultation
Health Canada will use the input received through this consultation to inform next steps, which may include a cost-benefit analysis of the proposal and future consultations. Any future regulatory proposal would be pre-published in the Canada Gazette, Part I for further stakeholder consultation in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's Cabinet Directive on Regulation.
