Consultation on the renewal of the Official Languages Health Program 2023-2028
From: Health Canada
Current status: Closed
Opened on January 20, 2022 and closed on February 25, 2022.
Goals of the consultation
The purpose of this consultation was to learn about personal experiences of members of official language minority communities (Francophones outside Quebec and Anglophones in Quebec) in accessing health services in the official languages (OL) of their choice and to know respondents' interests for the 2023-2028 phase of the Official Languages Health Program (OLHP).
The information collected was analyzed and was the subject of a consultation report, shared here: Summary Report: Consultations on the renewal of the Official Languages Health Program 2023 - 2028. The consultation report will be part of a set of documents that will be used (in addition to a consultation report with stakeholders, the evaluation report of the Action Plan for Official Languages, a public opinion research report, various research documents, etc.) to guide Health Canada's reflections on the future of the OLHP and, specifically, on the Program's priorities during the 2023-2028 phase.
