Online course for licence holders: Cannabis Act and Regulations – Understanding Compliance and Enforcement

Health Canada announces the launch of the Cannabis Act and Regulations – Understanding Compliance and Enforcement online training course.

This self-paced course helps federal cannabis licence holders understand their obligations under the Cannabis Act and the Cannabis Regulations. It lets licence holders review information any time and at their own pace, and provides a single window for accessing important resources, such as:

The course is available in both official languages and complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. It contains 12 modules that cover various topics, such as:

You can access the course by creating an account through the Public Health Agency of Canada Training Portal. You must fill out each mandatory field when you create your account.

After creating your account, you'll receive an email from PHAC Learning asking you to confirm your account. Follow the instructions in the email and you'll be directed to a page where you can log in to the training portal.

After logging in, follow these steps to enroll in the course:

  1. Enter "Cannabis Act and Regulations – Understanding Compliance and Enforcement" in the search field at the top-right of the screen.
  2. Click on the title of the course to open the course page.
  3. Click on the "enroll me" button at the bottom of the page.

When you complete the course, you will take a final quiz and receive a certificate. This certificate does not provide any additional authorities or privileges.
