Tips

  • Be sure to cut grapes in half lengthwise, this makes it safer for younger children to eat.
  • Citric acid is the natural acid found in oranges, lemons, and limes. It’s what makes you pucker! Find it in bulk food stores, online or supermarkets.
  • Can’t find citric acid? Use 15 mL (1 tbsp) of lemon juice instead of the citric acid.
  • Older kids can practice their knife skills and slice grapes (with supervision). Little chefs can help by shaking the container.
