- have skilled work experience in key sectors such as health care and social services, education, STEM, skilled trades and construction
- have French- and English-language skills
- want to live and work anywhere in Canada, outside Quebec
Francophone Community Immigration Pilot
Offers permanent residence to French-speaking skilled workers so they can live and work in rural Francophone minority communities outside Quebec.
Choose this program if you
- have a job offer in a priority sector from a designated employer in a participating community
- are proficient in French
Come to Canada temporarily as a French and bilingual speaker
These programs are best for French and bilingual speakers who want to work or study in Canada before transitioning to permanent residence.
Francophone Mobility Program
Allows employers outside Quebec to hire French-speaking skilled workers without a labour market impact assessment.
Choose this program if you
- want to work and live in any Canadian province or territory outside Quebec
- have strong French-language skills
Francophone Minority Communities Student Pilot
Allows French-speaking international students to obtain permanent residence more quickly after completing their degree at a designated learning institution in a Francophone community outside Quebec.
