The program delivery instructions have been updated for Quebec cases under the Temporary Foreign Workers Program and International Mobility Program. On August 2, 2018, the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion introduced a new Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) that no longer has validity dates. The expiry date has been replaced by a duration period, in months. The CAQ becomes effective at the time the work permit is issued. This modification has been made to ensure the work permit can be issued for the full duration of the employment specified on the Labour Market Impact Assessment and CAQ.
