Program delivery update: Concurrent processing of separated family members – April 20, 2018
This section contains policy, procedures and guidance used by IRCC staff. It is posted on the department’s website as a courtesy to stakeholders.
The instructions have been updated for situations where migration officers become aware that a principal applicant has family members who are separated from them and may or may not be accompanying them.
Officers should follow the new instructions to ensure that all family members, regardless of whether or not they are accompanying, are included on the Global Case Management System application and that they are examined, where possible.
Updated Instructions
