As a result of changes to the Ministerial Instructions and bilateral agreements with the Atlantic provinces, the program delivery instructions for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program have been updated.
- The pilot has been extended until December 31, 2021.
- The work permit portion of the program will now include assessment of language proficiency, work experience and education credentials.
- Further flexibility is afforded to certain occupations in the health care sector: some NOC A and B work experience may be used towards specific NOC C job offers.
