Program delivery update: COVID-19 – Temporary residence program delivery

Updates have been made to align with the coming into force of Ministerial Instructions to further support government-wide measures to limit the spread of COVID-19.
More specifically, the instructions now provide
- detailed guidance on how to process new and existing applications for temporary resident visas and electronic travel authorizations (eTA) from those exempted from the travel restrictions while application intake is paused
- specific instructions for the continued processing of work permits and study permits
