The instructions previously indicated that students were ineligible to the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP) if they received funding from Global Affairs Canada (GAC). As per the new International Education Strategy, GAC created a new program, the Study in Canada Scholarship, aiming to attract talent from a diverse range of countries to a diverse range of study destinations across Canada. As such, instructions were updated to reflect that recipients of the Study in Canada Scholarship are eligible to the PGWPP.
